Sandhurst Preparatory supports Takkie Tax Day

Sandhurst Preparatory College pupils supported Tekkie Tax Day on 27 May.

Pupils of the college donated to the cause by purchasing a sticker and were excited to show off their takkies to their friends and fellow pupils, and the variety of colourful shoes on show was mind-boggling.

National Tekkie Tax Day, established by Legacy through Charity Trust, is a fundraising campaign which supports other non-profit organisations.

The day has been part of the South African calendar for three years. This year’s campaign saw thousands of people participating by wearing a sticker and a pair of funky shoelaces in their takkies.
