The arrests were for offences such as theft, drinking and driving, prostitution and assault.
According to Warrant Officer Moses Maphakela, spokesperson for Sandton Police Station, five motorists were arrested for drinking and driving.
“Four suspects were arrested for prostitution,” he added.
“Three suspects were taken into custody for theft and two were detained at the Sandton Police Station for assault.”
The suspects are expected to appear in court soon.
