Agenda for the first BRACe meeting released

KELVIN – The date and agenda for the first Buccleuch Residents Action Community (BRACe) meeting have been announced.

 

The meeting will take place on 9 February at Cesco’s restaurant in Kelvin and will run from 6.30pm to 7.30pm.

Issues to be addressed at the meeting include the upcoming local elections, service delivery and the proposal for a new high school. The meeting is open to all Buccleuch residents.

The agenda for the meeting is:

  •  6.30pm Welcome, apologies, acceptance of minutes – chairperson
  •  6.35pm Security including crime statistics, trends and Saber Tactical feedback – chairperson
  •  6.50pm Development and greening – chairperson/councillor Bongani Nkomo
  •  7.00pm Outreach plans for 2016 – Maria Gerondoudis
  •  7.05pm Membership and finances – Maria Gerondoudis
  •  7.10pm Service delivery issues – councillor Nkomo – floor – Pier Nardin
  •  7.20pm General issues including annual general meeting and local elections – Dumisa Dlamini
  •  7.30pm Closing and thank-you’s – Dumisa Dlamini.
