Residents urged to adopt furry pets this week

JOBURG - The Sandton SPCA needs loving homes for some of their furry pets this week.

The organisation is appealing to community members to adopt a pet but advises that adoption will involve a home inspection by the organisation. Additionally, members will have to pay for vaccination, deworming and sterilisation of the animal, which are all compulsory.

The SPCA is looking for homes for the following adorable pets:

  • Danger is a male crossbreed, aged eight months, who was found unwanted. Danger is described as playful.
  • Mel is a female crossbreed, aged six months, who was found as a stray and is described as being very clever.
  • The SPCA is also looking for a loving home for Tootsie, a female crossbreed, aged six months, who was found abandoned.
  • Last, but certainly not least is Twinky. Twinky is looking for a loving family to take her in. She is an intelligent female crossbreed, aged eight months, who was found unwanted.
