Spokesperson for the school, Avril Wright said, “Going to high school and getting back to school is all about making new friends and Hyde Park High School warmly welcomed their new Grade 8 pupil intake.”
The pupils attended their first assembly where principal Manolis Vogiatzis addressed them and encouraged the pupils to embrace all aspects of the school day through academics, cultural activities and on the sports field.
Wright added, “There were many nervous young faces on their first day at high school, who were quickly reassured that Hyde Park High School is a great place to grow up.”
