Motorist clocks fastest speed recorded this festive season in Marlboro
SANDTON - It is reported that Metro police nabbed a motorist after he was caught speeding at 228km/h on the N3 highway, just after the Marlboro offramp at around 6.30am on 27 December.
News24 reported that Metro police had said this is the fastest speed recorded during this year’s festive season.
It was further reported the 33-year-old motorist was driving a red Audi A4 and was charged with reckless, negligent and drunk driving at Sandton Police Station.
Apparently 10 other motorists were also charged at the station after Metro police caught them speeding.
