Local swimmer makes a splash
SANDTON - Sandton resident and Redhill High School pupil Luke Ashton competed in the Vita-thion Central Gauteng Aquatics Championships and broke two South African records.

Represented by Haupt Swimming, Ashton competed in the championship which took place between 5 and 8 December in Ellis Park.
In a stunning result, he came first in the U14 boys 50m breaststroke with a time of 00:30.57 and in the 100m breaststroke he came first in a time of 1:07:40.
