Have you been carjacked by men in a blue Ford ST?

MARLBORO – Bramley police successfully arrested two of three suspects in Sandton recently, following an alleged carjacking incident on 1 October in Marlboro.

Warrant Officer Moses Maphakela, spokesperson for Bramley police, explained that the incident unfolded as the complainant was driving to Sandton.

“The complainant then stopped at the robot and while she was waiting, she heard banging on her window. It came from one of the suspects who was banging on her window with a gun,” he said.

The suspects then instructed her to get out of the car before making off with it and the valuables which were in the vehicle.

Maphakela added that following a tip-off from the community, the car was later recovered in Bramley View and two suspects were arrested while the third remains on the run.

The two were allegedly linked to three cases in Sandton and Maphakela appealed to residents to inform the police if they have ever been robbed by suspects driving a blue Ford ST.
