Get ready for a long slippery slide in Sandton

Slide Jozi brings a first of its kind fun day to Sandton which will cater to adults and youngsters, six years of age and older. This family day will give fun seekers a 300m slide down West Street with the city’s concrete landscape as the setting for this adventurous ride.

The slide will start at the top of West Street heading towards Rivonia Road and come to an end by safely stopping in a pool of water.

“We wanted to create something unique, something where adults could act like kids again and where kids could spend time with their parents,” said the organiser and marketing director of Spiced Productions, Danny Figueiredo.

“This event is a full day out for the whole family. All you need is a costume, towel, camera and a smile.”

Sliding times will be broken down into four slots, allowing people to pick the time slot they would like to experience the slide.

Slide Jozi will make sure everyone is looked after, and will also host an entertainment section with live music, a beer garden and a food court.
