Meter taxi driver allegedly hits tuk-tuk driver with metal pipe
SANDTON - There have been reports of an alleged clash between a tuk-tuk driver and a meter taxi driver in front of the Sandton Gautrain Station which erupted at 3pm on 23 September.

A driver at the scene said the fight began after a tuk-tuk driver, dropping off a client on the corner of Rivonia and West roads, blocked the parking bay in front of the station.
He added that one disgruntled meter taxi driver began to shout at the tuk-tuk driver and subsequently pulled out a metal pipe. The taxi driver allegedly hit the tuk-tuk driver and broke two of his fingers.
The meter taxi driver allegedly fled the scene after the incident.
Gautrain management said they were unaware of the incident and are looking into the incident.
Sandton police are also investigating.
