PHOTO 1 DRINKS ANYONE: The Forum Company hosted a fantastic Instawalk at The Campus, one of their iconic venues in Bryanston. The aim was to give a few fortunate guests a taste of what the company does ... which is host extraordinary events at a number of gorgeous locations.
City Buzz took part in a recent Instawalk at The Forum.
PHOTO 13 LUNCH TIME: The fabulous day ended off with a spectacular gourmet lunch consisting of an End and Beginning Salad, with ingredients that are just about to go out of season and ones about to come into season.
PHOTO 8 VENUE INSPIRED: The Forum Company provided yummy canapes, all of which were inspired by their different events and locations, including The Campus, Turbine Hall, White Light and l’antico Giardino.
PHOTO 12 PICASSO MOMENT: Local performance artist Anthea Moys instructed each Instawalker to close their eyes and draw a self portrait without looking at the paper. These were the City Buzz reporter’s final product.
PHOTO 5 ADD FLAVOUR: Executive chef Arno Boshoff explains what ingredients can be used by the Instawalkers in order to give their freshly baked loaves a punch of delish flavour.
PHOTO 6 BAKED: Each Instawalker was given a handful of dough, their choice of ingredients and then 10 minutes to knead it all together to create their exceptional loaves.
PHOTO 9 PRESENTATION TIME: The Instawalkers were directed through to one of The Campus’s auditoriums where a special, health inspired presentation took place.
PHOTO 3 BREAKING BREAD: The guests of the instawalk were invited by Glynis Hyslop, managing director of The Forum Company, to create their own unique loaves of bread.
PHOTO 7 ARTIST TOUR: The Instawalkers were led through the gorgeous halls of The Campus filled with gorgeous, abstract artworks by local well-known artists.
PHOTO 10 MANAGE YOUR FUEL: Celynn Erasmus, co-author of The FAB Quotient, gave Instawalkers an inspiring presentation on how to properly manage your fuel intake throughout the day in order to get your energy levels at their highest.
PHOTO 14 FRESHLY MADE: Executive chef for the Forum Company, Arno Boshoff, makes a delicious dessert directly onto the table.
PHOTO 11 TIME TO PLAY: Next was a fun presentation by local performance artist Anthea Moys, who taught the Instawalkers the importance of play and having fun in whatever you do, even if it means breaking the rules a bit.
