Youth day at the Field and Study Recreation Centre
PARKMORE – A youth day special will be hosted by Vedanta Institute South Africa on 25 September at the Field and Study Recreation Centre in Parkmore.
The activities will kick off at 8.45am and will wrap up at 4pm. The day’s activities will include sports, yoga, poetry sessions, lectures, and question and answer sessions. Youngsters between 10 and 18 years old are welcome to join the fun learning experience.
The institute is a non-profit organisation formed to provide education on Vedanta, an ancient Indian philosophy dating back several thousand years, is a scientific system of principles that govern human life. It teaches life skills and the fundamental values to cultivate a strong intellect thereby establishing dynamism in action, peace of mind and clarity in thinking.
Participants will leave the event having learnt how to think clearly, gain skills on how to handle the challenges of life gracefully, build better relationships and understand the individual’s role in life.
