SAM MAKHUBELA: Braam is the place to be. It's the culture and the lifestyle that make it such a cool place to be. Plus, I work here.

ZANDA MVULANA: I’m not from Joburg. I’ve been here only for a year and I like to stay at home. For me, this is a year of growth and introspection, but next year I’ll find a favourite place in the city.

CHAD HUGO: I like Braam and as a music producer, it’s a great place to be. It’s got the vibe.

MOHAMMED ELMI: I like going to Sandton. I love it because my family is there.

LEX TRICKETT: Fordsburg is really nice. I love it there because I’m from Durban, so being there kind of makes me feel like I’m back home.

MAMELLO SENOAMADI: I like Braam. I’m a student so I like to be with the students and it’s where I find my fashion inspiration.

MFUNDO SITHOLE: I love being in Braam because of the food and the music and most of all, the girls!

ANDY ALEXANDER: Maboneng’s culture is really nice and diverse, and there’s no stigma associated with people, no matter how they look or dress.

LEBOGANG MATLAWE: I love Gold Reef City. It’s fun and it’s a good place to spend family time. It’s also a place for the young and the old – the old must look after the kids, so we can have fun.

ANGEL NGCUKANA: Northgate is my favourite place because it’s close to home and it has lots of shops and restaurants. I love the food and the environment.
