Maserati sponsors Ironman team kit
BRYANSTON - Car dealership, Maserati South Africa sponsored kit for a three-man team which took part in the Standard Bank Ironman 70.3 Durban triathlon.
The team consisting of Shaun Watters, Kyle Moyes and Che Baker received a warm farewell from the Maserati staff at their showroom in Bryanston before the triathlon.
According to Brad Graaff, operations manager of Maserati SA, the sponsorship is the first step in what he hopes to be a lasting and successful foray for the Maserati brand into the South African sporting arena.
The triathlon involved a 3.8km swim, 180.2km cycle and 42.2km run.
“We are proud to be involved with this team and there are plans to extend our sponsorship of triathlon, cycling and mountain biking in the long term by supporting more amateur and semi-professional teams,” Graaff said.
