Senzo Meyiwa’s family has been financially burdened since his death

BUCCLEUH - The family of murdered Bafana Bafana captain and Buccleuch resident, Senzo Meyiwa has been financially burdened since his untimely death last year October.

This according to reports that state that Meyiwa’s family is frustrated by the delay in the payout of his life insurance policy.

The Bafana Bafana goalkeeper was gunned down eight months ago while he was visiting his girlfriend, Kelly Khumalo, at her home in Vosloorus.

Reports revealed that Meyiwa’s life insurance policy was valued at R5 million at the time of his death.

Meyiwa’s father, Sam, has apparently said the family was struggling to cope with the financial burden of caring for Meyiwa’s children.
