Broomberg will join the South African team and compete at the ARGO International Debating Tournament in Romania in September.
Nirvana Rogers, the marketing officer for Redhill School, said, “This is the first time Redhill School has had a Grade 9 make it to this 5-member team.”
Rogers said the rest of the school is extremely proud of Broomberg and they wish her all the best.
