Residents urged to contribute to blanket drive
BRYANSTON - Resident Donna Sipman is appealing to fellow Sandton residents and businesses to contribute towards a blanket drive she has started.
Sipman began the drive last week and is appealing to all to contribute knitted squares which will then be sewn into blankets.
“These [collected] blankets will go to various trauma centres and the people affected by violent crime and xenophonic attacks,” Sipman explained.
Sipman is running two collections in tandem in Randburg and Sandton. The drive is set to run until the end of May.
