Pioneering the culture of city living
MORNINGSIDE - Property developer Blok launched their city living brand at The Venue in Morningside.
The aim of the event was to introduce guests to Blok’s philosophy of urban living and thoughtful design. Blok wants to educate people on the benefits and joys of city living.
Guests were exposed to some of the company’s apartment designs as well as the technology used during the design process.
The Cape Town-based company wants to expand its brand in Johannesburg. “Blok is a brand and is more than a company,” explained Jacques van Embden, who founded Blok. “It offers people opportunities to live differently.”
Blok has chosen to deliver apartments with considered spaces such as home offices, fireplaces, daybeds and bars. Beyond the front door, Blok has undertaken to make a lasting and meaningful contribution to the neighbourhoods it develops in.
