Motorcyclist dragged 100m by truck

BUCCLEUCH - Following reports of a motorcyclist who was dragged about 100m by a truck after an accident on the Buccleuch interchange, EMER-G-MED confirmed that the patient had only one visible injury and is currently being checked for any internal damage.

Spokesperson for EMER-G-MED Danielle Dooley said the accident occurred at 9am on 2 April when the motorcyclist attempted to avoid colliding with the truck on the highway. She said the motorcyclist collided with a car and in turn fell under the truck.

Dooley confirmed that Metro police were on the scene and were investigating the circumstance behind the accident.

As of yet, Metro police have not released an official statement regarding the accident.

It has been reported that there was a horrific accident involving a truck and a motorcyclist at the Buccleuch interchange on the morning of 2 April.

Though the details are unclear, it has been confirmed on the EMER-G-MED Facebook page that the motorcyclist was dragged about 100m by the truck. The motorcyclist was transported to the nearest hospital.
