Giving the media a pre-festival tour

BRYANSTON - In preparation for the St Stithians Easter Sports Festival, which will take place from 2 to 6 April, the school gave the members of the press an exclusive media walkabout around the school on 27 March.

The festival proves to be a spectacular event with over 1 200 pupils from 47 schools from across South Africa, Zimbabwe, Namibia and the United Kingdom preparing to show off their sporting talents.

With the plethora of exciting sporting action, the festival will be a family-friendly event with food stalls and a kiddies play area. The event is suitable for the whole family to enjoy.

Director of St Stithians Tim Nuthall said the school expects up to 25 000 people to attend the festival and hopes that all residents have a great time.

Members of the press were led through the school grounds by the school’s spokespersons Sandy Andrew and Charlene Bolleurs who displayed the high-quality facilities to be used.
