Safta’s head to Midrand

JOBURG - The South African Film and Television Awards are making their way into Midrand's backyard.

Gallagher Estate will be the hosting venue for the prestigious awards.

Thishiwe Ziqubu and Erica Wessels are nominated in the Best Actress in a lead role category, for their respective work in Hard To Get and Alles Wat Mal Is.

The Best Documentary Feature award celebrates work that is perceived to be serious and informative. This year Miners Shot Down, I Afrikaner and The Vula Connection will be competing to take home the golden prize.

These categories and more will be in store for viewers of SABC 3 and attendees at Gallagher Estate on 20 March at 5.30pm.
