Celebrated poet captivates pupils at Crawford College

The celebrated personality, known for her captivating and unique storytelling, addressed Grade 8 and 9 pupils at a recent event.

Using storytelling and songs, Mhlope shared her stories about her upbringing in Kwa-Zulu Natal with her grandmother and encouraged pupils at the school to be proud of their culture, heritage and home language.

Pupils were captivated by the exciting and unique visit by the celebrated poet to the school, which left them educated and entertained.
