Long drive to stardom

ILLOVO - The Wanderers Golf Club will host the exciting Long Drive Golf competition on 13 March.

The event will see three of South Africa’s best long drive golfers pitted against Canada’s top three. Players only get three minutes to smash six golf balls down the fairway with the longest in play counting towards the team total.

Matthew Eglinton, representing the organisers Quantum Driving said, “This is the first event of the World League to be hosted in SA, but Quantum Driving will furthermore host Long Drive Tests between South Africa, the United States of America and Europe during the 2015 season.”

The clash will begin at 4.30pm.
