Expand your family, adopt a pet

SANDTON - The Sandton SPCA is looking for a loving home for some of their pets.

The organisation encourages the community to adopt pets, but advises that all potential adoptions will be subjected to a home inspection by the organisation.

Community members looking to adopt a pet will be required to pay for de-worming, sterilisation and vaccination, all of which are compulsory.

The SPCA is looking for homes for the following pets:

  • Bambi is a cross breed female who is two years old. The single mom of two puppies was found unwanted.
  • Pip is a cross Dachshund puppy male who is four months old and is a stray who is very playful.
  • Donny is a cross breed male who is four months old. He was found unwanted. He would make a great friend for children.
  • Becca is a cross breed female who is seven months old and has a lovely temperament.
  • Goldie is a golden tabby domestic short-haired female who is five months old. She was found unwanted and is very affectionate.
  • Chuck is a black and white domestic medium-haired male cat who is seven months old and was found as a stray. He loves to cuddle.

The Sandton SPCA will also host a gala evening on 14 March at Johannesburg Country Club, Woodmead.
