Shopping centre to clean up its act
MORNINGSIDE - Management of the Morningside shopping centre is in communication with the residents complaining about the alleged unsanitary conditions at the centre.

Sharon Henry the centre manager said, “We have ongoing communications as and when matters are brought to our attention.”
This after concerned resident Charles Key alerted the Sandton Chronicle to the alleged unclean conditions at the shopping centre. Henry said the centre has had prior dialogue with Key and other residents about the matter, and they continue to do so.
Key was perplexed by the state of the roads and pavements that border the centre.
He alleged that the shopping centre was littering on the pavements, delivery trucks were obstructing traffic and the drains were overflowing. Also the generator fumes from the centre were a health hazard to community members.
