One killed, seven injured after truck rolls
SANDTON - One person was killed and seven others were injured when a truck rolled and collided with another car on the corner of Marlboro and Birthday roads at around 7.30pm on 2 February.
Emer-G-Med Paramedics responded to the scene and alleged that the truck driver lost control of the vehicle on the corner. The truck rolled and collided with another car.
The paramedics said two people were critically injured and four others sustained moderate injuries. One person sustained minor injuries.
“The cab of the truck detached from the rest of the truck and almost landed in the Jukskei River,” the paramedics said.
