Bakkie with 21 passengers rolls near London Road
MARLBORO - Er24 spokesperson, Pieter Roussouw, has confirmed that a bakkie carrying 21 people rolled over on the N3 near London Road.
Roussouw said 10 people were declared dead on the scene by paramedics. He said 11 people were injured in the crash, eight with minor to moderate injuries while three others were in a critical condition.
One victim was taken to the Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital, while the others were taken to provincial hospitals in the area.
Roussouw said the accident occurred between 11am and 12pm on 31 January.
