Fallen branch blocks off Marie Avenue
PARKMORE - Following the heavy rainfall on the evening of 29 January, early morning commuters came across a new obstacle the following day.
A large branch from a tree which had possibly been struck by lightning had fallen and blocked Marie Avenue between ninth and eighth streets.
Orange cones and tape cordoned off the area forcing drivers to make a detour.
