Zulu kingdom launches reality show in Sandton
SANDTON - KwaZulu-Natal shared a little bit of the Zulu Kingdom at the launch of a new reality show in Sandton.

Holiday Swap KZN will explore the different corners of KwaZulu-Natal’s landscape in a 13-part TV show which premieres on 9 February on SABC 1.
Guests were invited to celebrate at the Protea Hotel Balalaika where Ndabo Khoza, the chief executive officer of Tourism KwaZulu-Natal, addressed the crowd.
He said, “It is important for us to revive the way we promote tourism.”
Khoza said the reality show concept is aimed at reviving tourism in KwaZulu-Natal. “Reality shows illustrate the power of selling,” he added.
Programme director at the launch, and host of Holiday Swap KZN, Nomzamo Mbatha said, “We’re building-up brand KZN. We make our guests feel at home and there is always something for everyone at KZN.”
Thebe Tourism Group chief executive officer, Jerry Mabena, added that the group has aligned itself with travel objectives to make travel affordable and accessible for everyone. The group has partnered with Tourism KwaZulu-Natal to offer innovative ways to approach tourism in South Africa. “We have to go out of our comfort zones to meet our objectives,” he added.
The series will take two teams of three friends on an adventure every week of the show. The teams will take part in holiday activities and compete against one another to score points. The team with the most points after three episodes will win a dream holiday in KwaZulu-Natal.
