Second suspect in Parkmore murder caught

PARKMORE - The Sandton police have successfully arrested the second suspect linked to the murder of a woman.

The first suspect was arrested on 15 August last year and was charged with the murder.

The two suspects were allegedly involved in the incident in Parkmore where they robbed the house of valuables worth R20 000 and killed the domestic worker.

Captain Kym Cloete, spokesperson for the Sandton police, confirmed that the second suspect, aged 30, was arrested in Soweto on 26 January.

“Both suspects are currently in custody and will appear in court on 30 January,” she said.

The two will be charged with house robbery and murder and are set to appear at the Randburg Magistrates Court.
