Warrant Officer Moses Maphakela, spokesperson for Bramley police, said the 32-year-old victim was informed that someone had entered his home while he was away. “He then went to confront the accused at his place of residence,” explained Maphakela.
He said the suspect lost his temper while he was being confronted.
“The suspect started swearing and took a metal chain with a padlock and assaulted the victim,” said Maphakela. The victim sustained injuries on his head, arms and back. “He later received medical attention for his wounds,” added Maphakela.
