College pupils have an Asian adventure

BRYANSTON - Pupils from the British International College in Bryanston had the unique opportunity to teach English in Thailand.

For the ninth year running, as part of the school’s community service programme, A level pupils went to Thailand for two weeks.

Pupils took in the sights, sounds and tastes of the unique South East Asian country.

However, the trip was a working holiday which meant that the pupils worked as volunteers, teaching English in Thai schools. Many of the Thai pupils were orphans of the tsunami disaster that devastated parts of the country some year ago.
