Jozi Real Food Market
This is one market with a difference. By supporting small businesses based in the city, the organisers have made it their mission to provide Joburg food lovers with a wide variety of locally produced artisanal produce. Based at the Pirates Sports Club, the space makes for a great outdoor Saturday morning with the family. Children can play on the jumping castles or on the club’s well-kept greens.

The Greensider: Food lovers are loving the recently opened food hall on Gleneagles Road in Greenside. The space, which used to house a hardware shop, is now home to food stalls which serve a variety of food from a crispy bacon and maple syrup waffle, a slow roasted lamb yiro, to fresh smoothies and tasty biltong. At times, the venue also plays host to comedy lovers with special performances by local comedians.
