New Year’s newborns
BRYANSTON - The first day of 2015 saw Sandton Mediclinic delivering three healthy and happy newborn babies.
Chris and Kirstan Lloyd welcomed their first child Kate who arrived at 8.30am at a weight of 3.4kg. The couple were happy with Kate’s health and wonderful temperament with Chris adding, “She’s kicking and drinking a lot and has been quite fantastic. She’s looking around and taking in the new world.”
Although he was two weeks early, Candyce and Brian Rickards were blessed with the arrival of their son Levi who was born at 11.05am at a weight of 2.6kg. Candyce said that though he came unexpectedly, she is completely in love and it is amazing that little Levi is finally here.
Esther Nyota and Bernard Nyirenda welcomed their second child in the form of a 4.40kg son who was born at 10.45am. They are currently deciding between the names Yeshua and Josiah, with Esther adding that he is the most beautiful gift of the year.
