Celebrating a year of great movies
SANDTON - United International Pictures in Sandton celebrated a year of successful movies at an end of the year event.
Marketing director, Stefan Rheeder and his team invited movie gurus to celebrate the success of a great movie year with them.
Peter Dignan, the managing director of United International Pictures said, “We are proud of our movies like Transformers, Boyhood and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles which have all done very well.” Dignan added that the movie industry as a whole was contributing to the growth of movies locally.
He wanted to see local South African films performing well next year. “We need to step up our game,” he added. “We are proud to support local films. We have some great movies in the country.”
Dignan added that United International Pictures had a wealth of movies coming out next year. Some of them include Unbroken and 50 Shades of Grey. “Happy holidays and see you all at the movies next year,” said Dignan.
