Car on fire on Sandton Drive
SANDTON - Traffic was more chaotic than usual in Sandton in the vicinity of Sandton Drive and Rivonia Road on 3 December as a car caught alight on Sandton Drive.
@tamerincarter tweeted an image of the car with smoke surrounding the vehicle. The incident occurred at around 4.30pm on 3 December.
At this stage, it is unclear how the car caught alight but it does not appear to have been caused by an accident.
It is also unclear whether anyone was injured in the incident.
Traffic was delayed on Rivonia Road from West Road.
