Motorist arrested after dragging woman under car

JOBURG - Parkview police have arrested a 48-year-old man for the road incident in which the man allegedly knocked over and dragged a woman under his car on William Nicol Drive by and St Andrews Road in Hurlingham.

The incident took place on 20 November and the woman is a teacher at Sandown High.

Parkview police spokesperson Sergeant Lloyd Ramovha said the man will face charges of reckless and negligent driving and for a hit and run incident.

Ramovha said the matter has been placed on the Hillbrow Magistrate’ s Court roll for 25 November.
