Last book sale before the festive season

“We would first of all like to thank everyone who has donated books to our library, and also those who came and brought them over the past twelve months,” said Keith Elliot of the Friends of Sandton Library.

The final grand book sale of the year will take place at the Sandton Library at the Nelson Mandela Square on 28 November, from 9am until 5pm, and again on 29 November, from 9am until 1pm.

“As we all appreciate a good deal for the holidays, over half of our stock, of circa 2 000 books, will be going at only R10, with a free plastic bag,” said Elliot. “A great collection of children’s books, all in top condition, which is our criteria, were donated last week, and are worth coming for.”

Elliot added, “We wish one and all a very merry Christmas, and a prosperous new year.”
