Mini-cricket champs to take on Lions

The anticipated clash, part of the Mini-Cricket season, will be a warm up game in preparation for their match against the national cricket team, the Proteas, at a later stage.

The primary school got the exciting opportunity after winning the mini-cricket competition, which was launched in September. The Proteas are set to take on the West Indies at the KFC T20 International Series 2015 at the Newlands stadium.

The match will take place on 14 November at the stadium from 4pm to 5pm with the season ending in April next year.
