Twitter reacts to bloody sheets at private hospital
SANDTON - Bloody sheets from Mediclinic in Sandton were exposed on Twitter.
@EMSOllie tweeted a photo to @PigSpotter and @Mediclinic displaying a photo of bloody linen sheets that were found on a friend’s bed at the clinic after she was apparently admitted.
“No wonder she has a post op infection!” added @EMSOllie.
@Dubbelduwwel tweeted, “Almost an hour later and no reaction from @Mediclinic?”
After Mediclinic Sandton was contacted, they said there was nothing to be concerned about and the incident was dealt with immediately.
@Ingklak said, “Wow! That’s gross.”
@KrugerforniaMan added, “That is a seriously disgusting, not to mention extremely unhygienic and a health risk of note!”
“Not even a government hospital will leave dirty linen like that!! SIS!!!!” added @dianne_c_50546.
