Man left in pool of his own blood

MARLBORO - A man was allegedly assaulted and left in a pool of his own blood on Third Street in Marlboro.

Warrant Officer Moses Maphakela, spokesperson for the Bramley police, said a 40-year-old woman alerted them about the incident.

“She was travelling with her brother-in-law when they saw a group of people gathered around a man who was lying on the ground,” explained Maphakela. He said the man was taken to the Alexandra Clinic.

“He was bleeding from all over his body,” added Maphakela.

He said a suspect was later arrested and detained at the Bramley Police Station.

He will appear in court soon.
