Slipper Day fun at Grayston Prep

SANDOWN - In honouring Reach for a Dream's Slipper Day, Grayston Preparatory School eagerly embraced the occasion for a worthy cause. Reach for a Dream is an organisation that fulfils the dreams of children with life-threatening illnesses.

The school’s Grade 7 mini-council members were instrumental in encouraging each pupil and parent to participate in the Slipper Day by donating R10 for a ‘slipper sticker’. This allowed the children to wear their slippers to school – or wherever they wanted – to show off their furry footwear and support Reach For A Dream.

The school was a hive of activity with all sorts of slippers in various colours, shapes and sizes adorning the feet of pupils and staff. An amount of R5 970 was raised by the school for Reach For A Dream.
