Domestic watch meetings for September
SANDTON - The September meetings for the Make a Difference Domestic Watch will cover the topic Get Registered Get Paid which will comprehensively cover the issue of giving information to the police.
Founder and co-ordinator, Penny Steyn said, “Every year I feel it is essential to cover [the] topic on information. I researched this topic extensively, the lesson is hugely comprehensive and I hope and pray that it will result in those who ‘know’ coming forward with information without putting their lives in jeopardy. The biggest problem the police have in fighting crime is lack of information.”
The meetings for September will inform domestic workers on the benefits of communicating constructively with the police, and proving that giving information will be the best way to fight crime in South Africa.
Steyn will lead the meetings discussing how domestics can register to pass important information to the police and getting paid for their assistance.
