Poor turnout at Coleraine Drive meeting

Henry du Preez writes:

I believe the roads agency should have at least posted the notice [of the Coleraine Drive meeting] at the road closure signs, local shops, and the complexes. That is why the turnout was so poor, nobody except a select few knew about the meeting.

I am a consultant and don’t look at your or any website. Every evening I come home to 50 or more e-mails of which 50 percent are junk. I read the paper and write reports, but seldom have time to go to the website unless I am specifically looking for something. I expected a notice to be posted about the Coleraine Drive public meeting and not [only] in your paper on the day of the meeting.

I… feel no notice was distributed so that they could have a poor attendance and have no probing questions. The roads agency wanted to keep the meeting a secret until it was too late so they [wouldn’t] get difficult questions to answer.

I don’t know what questions were asked but all I see with regards to the meeting is an excuse and no real information.
